I grew up in a small town in southwestern Saskatchewan, where my dad sold farm equipment and I spent summers on my aunt’s farm. I didn’t grow up running machinery—but I did take agricultural journalism classes so I could learn to speak farm fluently. Then I spent 25 years at The Western Producer, Canada’s largest ag newspaper, helping turn complex information into visual stories farmers could use. I followed that with five years as Creative Director, where I built marketing and editorial campaigns for internal and external clients across the industry.
