I grew up in a small town in southwestern Saskatchewan, where my dad sold farm equipment and I spent summers on my aunt’s farm. I didn’t grow up running machinery—but I did take agricultural journalism classes so I could learn to speak farm fluently. Then I spent 30 years at The Western Producer, Canada’s largest ag newspaper, helping turn complex information into visual stories farmers could use and built marketing and editorial campaigns for internal and external clients across the industry.
