Maverick Studios is a Saskatoon-based design and communications studio and offers print and digital design services, professional writing and editing services, and brand development / brand coaching for businesses.

You'll notice "we" mentioned a lot, and that's because flexibility offers advantages. 

I work with an established network of writers, printers, video editors and other professionals to ensure we can manage workflow, produce exceptional work and meet deadlines. For design projects, you’ll be working with me. On bigger projects, you’ll also be working with my extended group. This means I always have the right resources in place while keeping my overhead costs low.

• I've created billboards, brochures, classified and run-of-press (ROP) advertising, flyers, website ads, social media ads and artwork, brand identity and usage guidelines, branding materials (vector and web), door signs, logos, vehicle wraps, annual reports, business cards, corporate greeting cards, information graphics, icons and illustrations, and interstitial video ad artwork. 
• I am a writer, and provide editing, feature profiles, ghost writing, research, speech writing, video script/storyboard creation and sponsored content writing. 
• I create A/B marketing material, flags, lanyards, postcards, calendars, hoodies, posters, stickers, t-shirts, tote bags, and travel mugs. 
• I create magazines, technical guides, annual reports, strategic plans and business newsletters from concept through production. 
• I give workshops on design, visual communication and branding. 

• Contact me to schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone or Zoom meeting to see if we’re a good fit and if I can help you with your business problem.
• Once you're ready to work with us, we will send you an onboarding contract, which describes in full the project we will create for you, delivery timelines, the project cost and payment terms.
• We will also schedule a Brand Roundup session (this must be paid in advance) once your contract is signed and returned. Learn more about the Roundup here.

• Your final website/social media materials will be sent as RGB PDF/JPEG/PNG files as needed. 
• Printed materials will be sent as CMYK PDF files. 
• Small file sizes are sent by email, larger ones are uploaded to file-sending services such as WeTransfer.
• If you need a project to be printed and don't want to do that yourself, we can get print quotes from printers we recommend and send your files directly to the printer. Unless otherwise noted by written agreement, the client shall pay the printer directly for all print costs and arrange for pick up or delivery of their printed products. Maverick Studios is not responsible for any printing delays or defects in any final printed materials.

• If you need a straightforward, beautifully branded website that helps your customers understand who you are, what you offer and what to do next, we're probably a great fit.
• Our approach is intentionally simple: We work with proven website platforms like GoDaddy's Airo AI Builder and Squarespace's Blueprint AI Builder, using their professionally designed foundations and customizing the brand, content, structure and user experience to support your goals. The result is a polished, professional website that looks like your business and that you can confidently maintain yourself after we’re finished.
• To keep the process focused and the end result manageable, we don't build e-commerce sites, WordPress or Wix websites, custom-coded or bespoke websites, or sites that require complex functionality or animation.

• Yes. That's the point. I build websites on platforms that are designed for business owners to manage themselves, so you won't need to call a developer every time you want to change a photo, update your services or add a new announcement.
• We'll make sure you understand how your site works before we wrap up, and you'll have the access and tools you need to manage your own content going forward.
• If you'd rather have someone else handle occasional updates, that's something we can discuss separately, but ongoing website maintenance isn't included in our website packages.

• We don't offer free project quotes or RFPs. Instead, we use our Maverick Studios Brand Roundup, a paid service that helps you to get to the bottom of what's bugging your business. It's a mandatory first step that can pay back your investment with advice you can put to use immediately, no matter what you decide to do next. 
• We use a project pricing system for our intensive projects (Brainstsorm + Build, Collaborate + Create) with a fixed price and delivery timeline. Your full Brand Roundup investment can be applied as credit to these signature packages if you book them within 8 weeks of your Roundup session.
• We also accept requests for items like small ad designs, single-page flyers, or social media art. Our studio rate is $125/hour, plus GST/PST (where applicable). 
• A deposit of 25% may apply to any project valued at $1,000 or higher and if requested, must be paid before we can get started on your project.  
• No surprises: You’ll always get a heads-up before any extra fees are triggered! 
• Terms: The Brand Roundup must be paid in advance. All other fees are due and payable within 30 days of receiving your invoice. Payment can be made by e-transfer, EFT or cheque. Late payments will incur a penalty.
