I wouldn't say it was inevitable that I would one day own my own business, but I guess there were some signs pointing me in that direction.
I grew up in a small town where your neighbours are your community, your customers, and your lifeline. My parents both owned their own businesses. They didn’t talk about customer service, they just lived it. That’s how I learned that strong relationships get built with trust, effort, and showing up when it counts.
I got my first taste of storytelling watching old spaghetti westerns at our local theatre on Saturday afternoons. The hero of each story was what most of us think of when we hear the word "maverick." Independent. Creative. A little rebellious. The one people could count on to get the job done. That energy stuck with me.
Today, I bring that same spirit to every project. I’m a designer, writer and strategist, and I use my skills to fix problems. I find the story. I make sure your audience feels it. With a background in journalism and years leading award-winning editorial design at The Western Producer, I package complex information to drive clarity, connection and results.
Not everyone needs a maverick. But if you do, you’ll know.
I’m not here to play it safe, and I won’t tell you what you want to hear just to land a project. I give honest advice, make smart creative calls, and push past generic solutions so you're noticed, remembered and trusted.
Strong brands earn trust. Clear communication builds it. I’m here to help you win any showdown with effective branding, content and design, and I've developed some great systems to make sure I can deliver great results in record time. You might say I'm fast on the draw. Literally. But don't take my word for it. Find out for yourself.
